Eternal Light and a Spotless Mirror is a site-specific commission exploring the use of light in Jan van Eyck’s Adoration of the Mystic Lamb.

In the Gent altarpiece, above the figure of the Madonna, a Latin inscription describes her as “the reflection of eternal light and a spotless mirror,” a concept explored physically and metaphorically in this installation work.

On display at Design Museum Gent until September 2020, followed by Le Tripostal in Lille, France, until 2021.
